Children’s Ministry

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

The Children’s Ministry Team is under the leadership of Bro. Robert and Sis. Pam Lake. They have been leading the Children’s Ministry Team for over 18 years. Assisting the Lakes, Sis. Wanda Followwell is the Children’s Ministry Secretary. There are three main groups that fall under  the Children’s Ministry: KidZone, Kidz Kool Skool, and the Children’s Choir.

Every Sunday morning at 10:00 AM children ages 3 through 11 gather together for one of the most electrifying children’s ministries that you’ll ever witness. Using the latest in kid’s music, puppet theater, energetic games, live skits and dramas, the staff of KidZone seek to lead our children into a relationship with Jesus Christ through the New Birth. KidZone is under the direction of Bro. Jeremy and Sis. Misty Essary.

Wednesday nights from 8 to 9:00 PM are a special time for all of our children, it’s Kidz Kool Skool. Our highly capable children’s ministries staff teach our children the Word of God using Bible stories, memory verses, drama, and various forms of visual aids. Indeed, it is an exhilarating experience for all children!

The Children’s Choir is perhaps one of the most exciting Children’s Ministry activities. The children are always thrilled when they have the opportunity to perform  before the whole church in the sanctuary. The Choir is composed of children ages 3 through 11. They are very energetic and boisterous every time they perform. The Children’s Choir is under the direction of Sis. LaShauna Essary.
